Sayers is the biggest independent retail baker in the north-west, offering customers a wide range of savouries,
sandwiches and specialist bakery products.
The original Sayers business was established in 1912 in Liverpool and in almost 100 years of trading we have grown substantially.
Millions of satisfied customers are served every year at our shops throughout the region. These range from Blackpool in the north, Cheshire towns in the south and stretching from North Wales to Yorkshire.
Our delivery vans visit our shops every day to make sure all of our customers receive the finest quality, freshest savouries, sandwiches, salads, pasties and pies.
We have three types of shops, city centre, suburban and neighbourhood, reflecting changing consumer trends and catering for every customer need and lifestyle.
Sayers makes a valuable contribution to the north-west regional economy. We have nearly 200 shops employing around 2,000 trained staff whose high standard of work and professional pride has contributed to the company's success.
With almost 100 shops and over 1,000 staff in Liverpool alone, our roots in this great city mean a lot to us and that is why we were so keen to support the celebrations marking Liverpool as European Capital of Culture in 2008.
Our shop staff have captured the spirit of Liverpool European Capital of Culture '08, a number have become Liverpool '08 'Ambassadors and can provide customers with information about Capital of Culture events. We're even helping to feed the hundreds of volunteers at these events.
