Cains brewed the first Premium British Lager. Its Finest Lager is matured longer and brewed using only the best malt in the world - Maris Otter. It was voted the 2nd 'Best Thing in the World' by GQ Magazine.
Cains is the official beer of Liverpool's European Capital of Culture Year 2008 and the brewery is closely aligned to the arts following its tie up to supply Cains Finest Lager to Britain's four Tate galleries.

Recycled plastic bottles will ensure more than 2000 helpers are at the cutting edge of ethical and high street fashion .
The unique fleeces will be worn by volunteers when working at many of the high profile events the city stages this year.
