Getting to Liverpool
Located almost equidistant from London and Edinburgh, Liverpool is within easy reach of all major UK cities as well as Ireland, Scotland and Wales. By air and sea the city also acts as the gateway to Merseyside and England's NorthWest.
Air
Liverpool John Lennon Airpot is just 8 miles from the city centre and has regular scheduled flights to and from more that 60 European destinations with easyjet, Ryanair, VLM, Flybe and Wiz Air.

Manchester Airport offers an international gateway from all parts of the world. There is a direct link to Liverpool City Centre (journey time 90 minutes). There are regular shuttle flights into Manchester from other major UK airports including Gatwick and Heathrow.
Sea
The new Liverpool Cruise Terminal opened in September 2007. This port of call facility allows passengers direct access to the city centre of Liverpool and World Heritage site within 5 minutes of disembarkation.
Services between Liverpool, Douglass, Belfast and Dublin are operated by Norfolk line, P&O Irish Sea and steam packet ferries.

Rail
Regular services run from major towns and cities into Liverpool Lime Street Station making it one of the most accessible cities within the UK. Journey times from London to Liverpool are just over two hours on the Virgin Trains, with Virgins special offer fares from as little as £12.50.

Road
From the M6 Liverpool is easily reached via the M58, M56 and M62 motorways. The city centre is approximately 45 minutes drive from Chester, Manchester and North Wales; just over 1 hour from Blackpool, the Lake District, Yorkshire Moors and the Peak District National Parks; about 4 hours from London and Edinburgh.
